How To Convet Fat 32 To NTFS Partition

There are two types of partition FAT 32 and NTFS which gives options to you during Windows installation. Nowadays people uses NTFS partition due to encryption and for security, these facilty is not available to FAT 32. However, if you want to utilize some of the feature of NTFS partition which it doesn't have with FAT 32 partition.



So, what is the solution it has, without doing formatting how to enjoy NTFS partition. If you want to change the partition from your system, lower version to higher version here it is for you. Follow the tutorial carefully and apply to your system given below:

Convert FAT32 to NTFS Partition:

*   First Run your Command Prompt
*   Type convert C: /fs:ntfs (now C: is the drive)
*   Then type the Volume name which you want to convert (from my computer it can be seen the volume name)   
*   You are done.

Now command prompt will change the file system of that particular drive which you have typed for converting from FAT32 to NTFS without losing data have on that drive. This process can be done to External HDD, local Hard Disk Drivers and as well as to USB Flash Drives.
